Webtoon Recommendations!

Line Webtoon is a popular webtoon portal launched by Naver Corporation in 2005. There are tons of webcomics to read in Line Webtoon. And as an avid fan of webcomics, I would like to recommend some webcomics that I have read. Yay!

LUMINE

Synopsis:  A runaway werewolf, Lumine, meets a witch boy named Kody and is being hired to work as his bodyguard. Lumine, being determined to befriend Kody, tries everything to get Kody to trust him, while Kody tries to keep Lumine away from him. Their life gets even more complicated after an unfortunate event that leaves them to try to survive on their own.

Athena Complex

 

Synopsis: The goddess Athena starts attending a modern-day school in order to seek revenge on an incarnation of Poseidon.

Too bad it ain't that easy. Poseidon's incarnation Adrian is considered a Doom Magnet by many due to the Curse placed upon him, and despite of Athena initially managing to exploit the loneliness Adrian suffered to get closer to him, the ghosts of the past gradually start creeping in.

 

I Love Yoo

Synopsis: Shin-Ae Yoo has had an unfortunate childhood. Her family being torn apart by divorce, combined with suffering constant bullying and harassment from her peers at school has turned her into an introverted, sarcastic 17-year-old who professes no interest in dating or romance.

One day, after rejecting a Love Confession, she's being treated to a meal by her friends, when the guy she rejected and his buddies enter the restaurant. When they start insulting her and her friends, she throws a drink at them... and hits the ginger-headed boy that was trying to stick up for her instead. And who is now intrigued.

This is the start of her life becoming crazy, and — just maybe — her coming out of her shell.

Rebirth

Synopsis: What would you do if you are given a second chance to turn back time and relive your past? Would you do what you did back then for fear of the butterfly effect? Or would you take a different course of action and let the future speak for itself?

Let's Play

Synopsis: Sam wants to be a game developer, but before her career can get started, a popular gaming personality posts a video of himself playing her first game and gives it a bad review. To make matters worse, she soon finds out he's her new neighbor! A story about gaming, memes, and social anxiety. Come for the plot, stay for the doggo.

Oh Holy!

Synopsis:

Jamie has the ability to see and speak to ghosts. This ability has caused him to become a loner because other people only see him talking to air since they can't see ghosts like Jamie. On his first day of school he runs into, or more like gets confronted by his childhood friend, a girl named Holy who is popular in school.

Age Matters

Synopsis: A 29 year old hopeless romantic wonders if her time has come and gone, until she meets a 23 year old, billionaire bachelor with a secret. In love, does age really matter?

Ghost Teller

Synopsis: Humans get together to tell ghost stories. Ghosts get together to tell stories of humans more terrifying than ghosts.

Lookism

Synopsis: Lookism is about a boy named Hyung Suk who is bullied because of his looks. He decides to transfer schools, only to wake up in a new body.

Gourmet Hound 

 

Synopsis: Lucy, a woman with an uncanny sense of taste and smell, discover that her favorite restaurant has changed kitchen staff--and she does not know the identity of the chef whose cooking she's loved for years. When a lucky accident leads her to two former chefs at Dimanche, she decides that she will do her utmost to track down each of their old colleagues in order to rediscover that "perfect taste".
